I'm tired or the rain and crap hotel room... If I was paying it at least book me a larger suite please. Got 6 calls from the Foundation tonight before 11pm... Being honest for the amount you wanna pay me go ahead I'm available till 11 an open up shop at 5:30. Yet to finish some fine details but current employer is crushing my spirit I would love some recognition and financial support yeah I'm leaving but at least let me feel like my work is worth something more that free labor to you guys. Saw a yellow Lotus motor sport Elise plates @#$%&+ you bastard was calling saying you were staying @ Xyz Inn (same as mine) to much to fucking ask??? 3 day update
Sorry readers... if I have any.... got coupe up at the Irvine location for the last days and since were working on ITAR materials and documents I didn't have much to time to update this... bottom line is
- I got a 50% proposed raised.... yeah I don't think so,
- free food and booze in the hotel for the last 3 days plus today and tomorrow
- full unlocked TV (no questions or paper worked required)

My loving wife sent me some texts, hopefully she logs in later and we can talk and do other couples stuff

FSM Hell is the worst kind of hell ever

My boss just called and straight forwardly told me why I was quitting, strange enough he is not the I visit blogs kind of guy or most of the people at work. Said he had a call from local high ups saying to not interfere and provide any assistance in the 1 week notice since they had know about this… I got the offer on Friday HOW IN THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTERS STALE BEER VOLCANO HELL DID THEY KNOW!

Whatever apparently I’m getting some sort of silent treatment from management till I quit next week and I’m getting a “see you” payment so I think we’re kind of in the “fuck you, but please consider coming back” area.

I don’t think I will get to train my replacement since last time they needed to hire someone to fill the engineer urgently it took them a month to find a good candidate, whatever if they need help my boss knows he can shoot me up an email or call me, my sister called me crying after seeing my facebook post, so long facebook, I’m just going to stick to the google plus site for the moment and blogger till I get some info from the IT guys on “allowed websites” and “Danny’s alone time allowed webpages and videos”.

Level 3 Foundation - Purchasing and Procurement Specialist

So apparently I’m now an official Foundation buyer (apparently I can say/write “Foundation” but not the rest) and my first job is in Alaska in site #14 I leave on the 17^th (02.17.14) and something that at least to me shows me that I made it “big time” is I get 1k a week for expenses no including fares does apparently are corporate dictated and blah blah blah I can dress anyway I chose but shorts, sandals and hats are frowned upon (why would I dress like that??) so continuing with the rest… I also got a 1.5k for any clothes I think appropriate and my choice in electronics BUT the IT department will purchase them and do the rest I will get them before the “transport arrives” which if I’m not mistaken I’m going on a train trip from Tijuana to X place then to Alaska (plane I suppose) .

Yet something weird happened, I was told to NEVER under no circumstance to disclose any names from the engineers and to contact them at a 1800 number in case someone asked for my clearance.

I think I shouldn’t have taken this job but the pay will be good, I got some free clothes and stuff so I could quit now or see where this takes me, either way if the color things/people show up I’m practically fucked, speaking of which I even got some curious guidelines to this last matter and even got some “in case you have a [REDACTED] you may consider the following” pointer in their “Welcome Manual”, since from what the hierarchy shows there’s levels of employment, levels 1 and 2 are engineers and technicians with some occasional temps, levels 3 (like myself YAY!) are site staff like clerical (accounting) and for some reason Doctors in lots of different maters (do they also have physicians? I need my brain checked out maybe the color bird people are a tumor or just a stress build up).

Well I better go quit tomorrow morning, my direct boss won’t like it but it’s too much money to pass away the offer hopefully he gets pissed and tells me to go home and just check for the pending salary next week.

My wife is in all aspects as I can tell happy for us since this means we can get a bigger place or stay (them not me) put and try and buy a place, get a new car maybe even some other things, when I told her the visits were a no go with them she cried a bit but she has to understand this is good for us and will help us be better (everything except close by) the girls are young and really didn’t get it, since the contract does not say anything about video calls I’m going to opt and buy a good laptop for them to at least video call them every day.

Cat was hurt and bleeding badly BUT not dead, same with the dogs I don’t know what happened but the vet says it’s probably some raccoons or something that attacked them either way their fine so less stress for me but I still have lots of planning before I leave.

So messenger boy just came by

So either they read this blog OR they really want me in their team a same day messenger boy showed up at my house, how the fuck did they  get this address if I told them the listed on the resume was the one on my ID but not where I lived?

He had a box and a slim document folder for me… it’s a copy of the contract with a letter “- in case your interested sign it today or tomorrow and call this number and a messenger boy will pick it up and give you a box with instructions, plastics and required things you start in 2 weeks starting the day you signed we suggest you give a week and a half notice and get your family ready for your departure”.

Plastics? Am I getting a corporate card? Yeah I don’t think my brain is working correctly right now I’m to hyped and haven’t even told my wife

I place the box in the living room for the girls to open with me and start reading the contract… that’s all I can say since it also has a NDA for what it states. Bottom line is I get told an amount I need to procure WHATEVER the place I visit needs (2 fold) within the budget, there are to be no questions (besides the “what application do you need this for so I can look for something better or cheaper”) I’m always to were the credentials either on my belt, waist, or neck visible to all when in the “workplace” also I cannot have outside food when in the workplace I can order from the approved list or break room dinner(?) ok so kind of sneaky but whatever. Phone, tablet or laptop must always use the given network (even my personal phone) oh and so long “personal phone” now I got updated to whatever phone you want , “use you sim card but stick to our rules” was also noted (fine by me).

I will post a pic of the credential on Tuesday if I can, too bad till know I don’t get a free bike or car.

So continuing, any social media is approved but no level 3 or higher personal names (I wonder what my level will be) are to be posted, any post related to the employers name or work will be motive for termination (you think so? It’s not my first NDA).

All media player are to be either provided by the company OR tethered to a company device or network… does this mean I can pick a phablet with a big memory and put all my music and pics there? I wonder if the IT guys can let me use cyanogen on my phone or they will use a custom [EMPLOYER NAME REDACTED] ROM, some other rules state more personal stuff I apparently can do some are “encouraged” but some are not, no blog tomorrow (Sunday) I want and need to spend time with the family as much as possible before I get cracking on the new job!

I like Saturdays, I can wake up at 8, have breakfast home or somewhere with the girls & my wife and when they go grocery shopping and other things with their grandma I can stay home alone and watch TV, read a book, clean the house (yeah so what) or keep going with the German lessons (still a noob but hey I’m learning let me be).

I keep thinking about the job offer, I haven’t see the weird colored guys/things since Thursday, maybe it’s for the best (and it is),why after so much struggle just trying to look for a normal, common buyer job I finally get one and best of it pays like I did more than just buy things. I called my brother and sister (note to self: call mom on Monday) I think next week maybe the last I see them or they hear from me for a while, I don’t really care were I get sent as long as I get paid but knowing I can’t just call them up and say “come on over for supper “is kind of sad…

Some one called me asking which countries I had visited, I think it was the Russian guys from the interview, besides the US none (fuck so much a good impression), said it was ok and he would send some things “just in cake you think of signature the paper” like a gift basket to get me to sign? YAY free stuff, of course I’m going to sign just let me tell my boss and I will sign the same day if not today!
